Grange Farm Centre is a charitable trust that was established in 1984. The Trust has an endowment and from the income that is generated it assesses applications and distributes grants for the leisure and recreational benefits of the community.  Over the past few years, these grants have amounted to between £100,000 and £150,000 per annum benefiting some 20 to 30 different organisations each year.

The aims of the Trust are defined within the Trust Deed as being “to provide or to assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit (i.e. the Metropolitan Police District and such part of the District of Epping Forest in the County of Essex as is not included in the said Police District) in particular and the public generally with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants”

With the re-development of the Grange Farm Centre the Trust has taken responsibility to support the whole site and ensure that it is sustainable and a thriving place for the community.
